Charity: Water/ Postcard

In creating a postcard for fundraising, for wells in Africa. I had a couple of ideas that I created quick sketches. My first sketch was a tree with charity clearwater in the vines, and implying that the water helps life grow. this was my favorite idea, but it would be very hard to create a stencil for this.

My next idea was to imply looking through a big water drop falling from a water faucet. And on the water drop I would create some kind of text. For the stencil this would work the best. So I decided to scan it and fix it up on illustrator.
Here is the outcome of my final postcard stencil.

118 book designs

For the last two week the class has been working on Designing an illustrated book based off of an Oscar Wilde poem. The class came up with many subject to work on from innocence to war and violence and corruption. I decided to use one basic thought, Youth and innocence. And the first thought that comes to my head from this subject is my son. Looking at him in my view shows much innocence, from his smile to his crying. Below are some of my images that will be in the class design book. I see innocence but you may see something else, it all depends on the viewer.
